GPS Fix for Android 4.4.4 Wiko Rainbow ROMs - Cyanogen CM11, Carbon ROM, PACman ROM, MoKee,...

Howdy! As the fellow user ocoot reported in a dedicated thread at xda-developers.com there is a fix now for the Android KitKat 4.4.4 Wiko Rainbow versions relating GPS-bug. It's a flashable file to applyed via recovery. This bug was the main reason, why many people stayed with the old 4.4.2 (even though there seems to be a battery bug).

Here are the instructions in short:

- Backup your phone first
- Download this file: GPS-test.zip
- Boot the phone into recovery mode
- Wipe cache and dalvik-cache
- Flash the zip-file
- Reboot the phone
Done.

** Edit: Developer moonrotation wasn't able to Fix GPS with the fix (On his CM11 build)... so you should wait a bit to test it or wait for me to return with results.

Update: Warning! Fix tested on CM11 and DID NOT WORK!

Wiko Rainbow Cyanogen CM 14 ROM - First Nougat 7.0 ROM CM 14 ROM for the Wiko Rainbow Spotted on XDA

Cyanogen CM 14 ROM based on Nougat 7.0 Android arrived on the Wiko Rainbow.  Just wanted to let you know, that there has a CM14 Cyanogen ROM arrived on XDA based on a nougat 7.0 source. I didn't test it for my speakers are still down and the rest of the device is falling appart too. Feel free to test your own luck. You can find the ROM at the XDA-Forum HERE Have fun. But beware. Wiko Rainbow - repair / fix invalid IMEI error / bug - super easy

Did you also ran in that annoying "INVALID IMEI" thing while flashing? Okay. There are a lot of guides out there. And all of them (more or less) bring back the IMEI in some way. But for all what I know, it's gone anyway, the next time you install an OS. So why bothering to install Recoveries and such in the first place? This way shows you how to "fix the imei" without. All on your own risk.
