Top 5 Wiko Rainbow Marshmallow ROMs - Best Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ROMs testet so far

Howdy folks,

as I had to find out, I was chasing ghosts with the sound issue at the Cyanogen 13 6.0.1 and other ROMs like XOSP, AICP, CandySix for the Wiko Rainbow. I recently realized, that I forgott to think about the most simplistic thing: A broken speaker. :/

So I guess all the tests on Marshmallow ROMS and Cyanogen CM 13 CM 13.1 ROMs for the Wiko Rainbow were kinda a fail and all the ROMs are are running pretty fine I guess. I wanna say sorry if I blamed the ROMs before. So here is a little ROM-List as minor excuse.

You can find some alternative recoverys like Carliv Touch Recovery, TWRP - TeamWinRecoveryProject or PhilZ recovery for the Wiko Rainbow Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROMs and minor additional help on THIS site.

You can find other ROMs for the Wiko Rainbow over HERE at the XDA developer forum or HERE at the XDA forum too. Also you should keep THIS Site (Mtkroms) in sight. I think these dudes are pretty good / fast and offer some tutorials and ROMs.

I will try to fix my Wiko but don't know if it's worth it for now. Maybe I'm going for the XIAOMI MI MIX  later. Anyway ill keep this blog up for a while and support yu with some news. ;)

Wiko Rainbow Cyanogen CM 14 ROM - First Nougat 7.0 ROM CM 14 ROM for the Wiko Rainbow Spotted on XDA

Cyanogen CM 14 ROM based on Nougat 7.0 Android arrived on the Wiko Rainbow.  Just wanted to let you know, that there has a CM14 Cyanogen ROM arrived on XDA based on a nougat 7.0 source. I didn't test it for my speakers are still down and the rest of the device is falling appart too. Feel free to test your own luck. You can find the ROM at the XDA-Forum HERE Have fun. But beware. For now it seems that there is a lot of stuff not working. The Post says: Bug the major: Camera (recover in the next build.) Wi-Fi access (get better in the next build.) Wiko Rainbow - repair / fix invalid IMEI error / bug - super easy

Did you also ran in that annoying "INVALID IMEI" thing while flashing? Okay. There are a lot of guides out there. And all of them (more or less) bring back the IMEI in some way. But for all what I know, it's gone anyway, the next time you install an OS. So why bothering to install Recoveries and such in the first place? This way shows you how to "fix the imei" without. All on your own risk.
