Wiko Rainbow Cyanogen CM 14 ROM - First Nougat 7.0 ROM CM 14 ROM for the Wiko Rainbow Spotted on XDA

Cyanogen CM 14 ROM based on Nougat 7.0 Android arrived on the Wiko Rainbow.  Just wanted to let you know, that there has a CM14 Cyanogen ROM arrived on XDA based on a nougat 7.0 source. I didn't test it for my speakers are still down and the rest of the device is falling appart too. Feel free to test your own luck. You can find the ROM at the XDA-Forum HERE Have fun. But beware. For now it seems that there is a lot of stuff not working. The Post says: Bug the major: Camera (recover in the next build.) Wi-Fi access (get better in the next build.) Secondary: It does not work dialer (when trying to call USSD command or number - reboot) (recover in the next build.) Top 5 Wiko Rainbow Marshmallow ROMs - Best Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ROMs testet so far

Howdy folks, as I had to find out, I was chasing ghosts with the sound issue at the Cyanogen 13 6.0.1 and other ROMs like XOSP, AICP, CandySix for the Wiko Rainbow. I recently realized, that I forgott to think about the most simplistic thing: A broken speaker. :/ So I guess all the tests on Marshmallow ROMS and Cyanogen CM 13 CM 13.1 ROMs for the Wiko Rainbow were kinda a fail and all the ROMs are are running pretty fine I guess. I wanna say sorry if I blamed the ROMs before. So here is a little ROM-List as minor excuse. Please: Don't forget to stop by at XDA and give some Kudos to the original developers / modders. Wiko Rainbow AICP 11.0 ROM on XDA

Theres a new ROM for the Wiko Rainbow out there. The AICP 11.0 ROM. Unfortunatly it also got the common CM13 crackeling sound issuse but runs smooth and is lightwight. Since GPS and Mobile Data / WLan is working, this is my actual choice - even with the cocky sound. For now I'm using it but did no find to review it. Will test the Ressurection Remix 5.7.3 ROM later. Wiko Rainbow cyanogen CM 13 Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM - Stable & working GPS but...

I (once again) switched the ROM to  an unofficial Wiko Rainbow Cyanogen CM 13 Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM. The reason: Neigther the XOSP ROM series nor the Ressurection Remix worked out for me when daily used. While I wasn't able to get GPS to run on XOSP 6.1 ( I did install the "GPS FIX" from the thread, but as the "WiFi fix ;)" it didn't have any impact) the mobile data seems to get corrupted sometimes when rebooting the phone. So I tryed around with Ressurection Remix 5.7.0 ROM but still. Same issues. Guess they are from the same branch.

Wiko Rainbow XOSP 6.1 ROM at XDA

There's another new Marshmallow ROM for the Wiko Rainbow arising. It's called "XOSP" and seems to be legit. Will test it later. I did test the XOSP 6.1 for the Wiko Rainbow and it works great. Can't write more right now since I'm on vacation but you can find the XOPS ROM here: http://adf.ly/1byIKD CU l8er --- * Additional Inormation to XOSP 6.1 ROM for Wiko Rainbow 02.08.2016 : I got issues when switching between WiFi and mobile data. So I keep WiFi turned of and got no problem with the ROM. I'll have to investigate that bug some day ... I'm pretty busy restoring guitars, lutes, cuatros, balalaikas or other stuff. :) You can find the XOSP 6.1 ROM for Wiko Rainbow related thread over at the XDA-Developer Forum … but don't expect too much support. ;) GPS is buggy too. The offered "WiFi Fix :)" doesn't work neighter. You can download and use THIS APP instead to fix the NVRAM issue on Wiko Rainbow and other MTK devices. It'
